2010 and Q1 2011 Highlights
In 2011 ClinDatrix began its 9th year in business. ClinDatrix continues to receive a lot of repeat business from very satisfied clients with numerous active projects. By keeping marketing, business development and overhead expenses low, ClinDatrix continues to offer clients high quality service at a reasonable price. Revenue was up 58% in 2010 over 2009.
During 2010 and Q1 2011 ClinDatrix validated the Oracle Argus Safety management software. The system was commissioned for production use on February 10, 2011. ClinDatrix is now offering its clients an Oracle Suite of robust, highly reliable, and scalable applications. These tools will broaden ClinDatrix world class data management and clinical services in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries.
Using Oracle Clinical including RDC Onsite and implementing Oracle Argus Safety, the industry’s leading safety management system, will continue to augment ClinDatrix capabilities of expansion into large global Phase III clinical trials. In 2010, the company launched two Phase III trials and one Phase 1 medical device trial, all using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) for different sponsors. Customized self-paced online training for sponsors, CRAs, and investigational site personnel in Oracle Clinical RDC through ClinDatrix’s proprietary system, TrainDatrix, is being provided along with 24/7 technical support. The Oracle suite provides site personnel with a simplified EDC user interface. Discrepancy management is eased by providing immediate validation checks, batched validation checks, and remote monitoring. Oracle Thesaurus Management System facilitates coding of medical terminology and supports all dictionaries required by international regulatory authorities. The addition of Oracle Argus Safety provides a scalable robust management system for processing and managing serious adverse events and safety reports to regulatory agencies around the globe.
“Oracle Clinical and Oracle Remote Data Capture provide an integrated EDC solution that uses the same database for either paper or EDC data submissions. This is a strong feature from a Data Management perspective” says Louise M. Murphy, PhD, MBA, ClinDatrix President and CEO.
ClinDatrix was founded in 2003 by Drs. Brian and Louise Murphy to provide a personalized approach to the critical aspects of clinical research, data management, and statistics in the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. The company is 97.5% employee-owned.
